Refleccion 3

What did you learn about the character that you and your team put on trial?

One of the many things i learned about Desdemona in this trial we make to her was about the fact that not always theres a clear reason of why he or she did something.

There surely are reasons behind, but not at simple sight. So we had to ask variouse reasons of to why she didnt do anything although, to ourselfs, it seemed that she was fully aware of the situation she was in.

Other thing i also realized was the fact that you can go much deeper to a character if you give it the time. I, for example, would have stoped after completing the play and wouldnt have asked any further questions.  But becouse of this activitie i learned much about one character in specific and didnt just stayed with what the novel, at simple sight, said.

Reflection 2

What has made Othello both universal and timeless, in your opinion?

One of the things that make Othelwlo universal and timeless and thus very famous is the fact that it was written by William Shakespear. One of the most reconginzed authors of plays of all times. This by itself makes the play valuable and important in the world of theater. But it isn't the only thing that makes Othello timeless and relevant in the world.

Other important thing that makes othello a great play is the theme it is focused on. All the trickery, lies and jealousy makes an intriging and dramatic play for the audience. The drama factor and how the play uses its characters also play an important role in making Othello an important, relevant and timeless play.

Also the Historical context is a great deal at thinking why it is relevant in the current world. Othello also acts like a doorway to tha past, expresing and plastering how humans lived on 1603. That's becouse this represents how the author, and the audience that like the play, thought at the time.

There are a great deal of factors for the reason behind Othello beeing timeless and universal across the world. Here i only emphasize the main points and thoughts of myself of why this play is important and relevant, but surely there are a lot more reasons for you to think why this play is uniersal and timeless
